The Heshe and Harriet Seif Jewish Learning Initiative on Campus, or JLIC for short, is a partnership between Hillel and the Orthodox Union, to install Orthodox rabbinic couples on college campuses to encourage and foster the growth and development of communities and individuals, Orthodox and non-Orthodox alike.
Rabbi David and Ariel Pardo moved to Waltham in August ’13, ready to pound some pavement! College can be a fun time, a stressful time, a time of tremendous growth, and a time when you just don’t know what to expect. We know, and we’re here for the ride!
We provide shiurim (classes), one-on-one learning, and personal halakhic advice. We also do social programming and hosting at our home right off campus. We learn, teach, chat, hang out, schmooze, coordinate, plan, eat, drink, sing, jump, and a bunch of other verbs!

If you want to get together with us, to learn or just for coffee, see how easy it is to book some time.
If you need to get in touch with either one of us, please see contact.
Is there something you want to tell us anonymously? Clicking feedback is a good way to do that.
See you on campus!
